About the Role:
Take the lead in managing the Psychogeriatric Unit (PGU) at Rimu Park - the only facility of its kind north of Auckland, providing specialized care for up to 20 residents at D6 level. This pivotal role involves full oversight of the PGU, including staff leadership, resource management, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing and clinical care. You experience as a Registered Nurse in Mental Healt settings will be essential for this position.
As the PGU Clinical Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining continuity of care, meeting all contractual and legal obligations, and fostering a supportive, person-centered environment. You will also serve as the key liaison with Te Whatu Ora, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support resident wellbeing and service excellence.
